There are two La Leche League groups in Tokyo, Tokyo Central in Shibuya (see below for details) and Tokyo West in Tachikawa. La Leche League (LLL) offers information and support for all women interested in breastfeeding, with monthly discussion meetings and free phone and email help. LLL Leaders are all volunteers. Annual membership of 6,200 yen (with LLL's highly acclaimed book "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" included) is optional.

LLL Tokyo Central group has re-started its meetings. We hold regular continuing series of informal discussion meetings open to all women interested in breastfeeding. Babies and toddlers are always welcome. We meet in a very spacious hall and toys are available.
